Prompting & task execution
Strong prompts, task decomposition, and iterating to quality — for analysis, research, drafting, and brainstorming. 14% of the exam.
Live 3-week cohort · No coding required · Starts Aug 31
A live, three-week cohort that prepares you for the Claude Certified Associate – Foundations (CCAO-F) exam — the certification for professionals who use Claude at work. Prompting, judging AI output, Projects, real workflows, and responsible use. No coding required. We finish with a full practice exam, so you walk into the real one confident.
Keysoft is registered in the Claude Partner Network — you sit the partner-gated CCAO-F exam through us.
How it works
The same live, hands-on format as our other programs — sized for working professionals.
Tell me about you and what certification would unlock. If you're accepted, tuition is $395 — Foundations-workshop alumni credit their $99.
Monday kickoffs, Wednesday hands-on labs, Friday office hours — in person in Atlanta or live online, all recorded — plus practice challenges between sessions.
We end with a full 60-question practice exam and a registration walkthrough. Then you sit the real CCAO-F — a separate $99 fee, proctored online or at a test center.
The credential
The Claude Certified Associate – Foundations is Anthropic's certification for people who use Claude as a productivity tool — operations, marketing, project management, education, communications, and knowledge work. It validates that you can apply Claude to real business tasks: 60 multiple-choice questions, 2 hours, proctored, no coding. The cohort covers the full exam blueprint:
Strong prompts, task decomposition, and iterating to quality — for analysis, research, drafting, and brainstorming. 14% of the exam.
The biggest domain: spotting hallucinations and bias, fact-checking, adapting outputs per audience, choosing formats. 21%.
Chat vs. Projects vs. research mode; Haiku, Sonnet, and Opus; matching cost, speed, and quality; managing context. 12%.
Analyzing use cases, redesigning processes around Claude, and communicating value and limitations to stakeholders. 16%.
Projects with instructions and knowledge sources, connectors like Google Drive and Gmail, and keeping them current. 12%.
Responsible use, data sensitivity, org policy — plus diagnosing and fixing underperforming prompts and workflows. 25% combined.

The three weeks
Prompting frameworks and task decomposition, then the evaluator's discipline — hallucination hunts, fact-checking drills, and adapting outputs for any audience. 35% of the exam.
The product map and model family, context management, Projects with knowledge and connectors, and redesigning a real workflow end to end. 40% of the exam.
Governance and data sensitivity, a troubleshooting clinic, and a full 60-question practice exam under exam conditions — reviewed domain by domain. 25% + exam readiness.

No. The CCAO-F credential — and this cohort — is for professionals who use Claude as a productivity tool. No API, no code. If you build with the Claude API and Claude Code, look at the CCAR-F Architect cohort instead.
No — the CCAO-F exam is a separate $99 fee paid at registration. It's a proctored exam (online or at a Pearson VUE test center), 60 questions in 2 hours. The cohort ends with a registration walkthrough so you know exactly how to sign up.
Yes! Workshop alumni credit their $99 toward the $395 tuition, so you pay $296. The workshop is also the ideal preparation — the cohort picks up right where it leaves off.
No. If you're already comfortable with Claude basics — you use it regularly, you've built a Project or two — you can join the cohort directly. If you're brand new, take the workshop first; it starts Aug 8 and flows straight into this cohort.
Monday kickoff 1–2 PM ET, Wednesday lab 2–4 PM ET (in person in Atlanta or live online), and optional Friday office hours 1–2 PM ET. Every session is recorded, so you can catch up any week.
I review every application personally. If you're accepted, you'll get an acceptance email with your enrollment agreement and the $395 invoice — your seat is confirmed once both are done.
The CCAO-F is valid for 12 months. Renewing on time is free — a short, non-proctored refresh assessment — and as a member of the Keysoft Claude Community you'll get a nudge (and updated materials) when it's time.
